We found the perfect new queso recipe for you to try and it has a secret ingredient... cottage cheese!

Only three ingredients make this quick, easy, and delicious. The cottage cheese packs this queso full of protein, making it the perfect after school or afternoon snack to keep you full until supper.
If you haven't jumped on the cottage cheese train yet, now is the time. Cottage cheese is full of protein, vitamins and minerals making it a great healthy snack on it's own, but it's creamy, mild flavor makes it great for adding to some of your favorite recipes.
This recipe has you blend your cottage cheese until it's silky smooth, so it mixes perfectly with your melty cheddar cheese. Mild or medium cheddar work great, but if you're looking to spice things up a bit we recommend our Chipotle Morita cheddar.

Cottage Cheese Queso Dip
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp taco seasoning
DIRECTIONS
- Add cottage cheese to blender and blend until smooth.
- Transfer blended cottage cheese to a microwave safe bowl (if using microwave) or saucepan (if using stove-top).
- Add shredded cheese and seasoning to cottage cheese.
- Microwave Directions: heat for 1 minute, remove from microwave & stir well. Place back in microwave and heat for 30 seconds, stir. Repeat until mixture is smooth.
- Stove-top Directions: heat on low heat while stirring until mixture is smooth.
- Serve with your favorite queso dipping tortilla chips or crackers!
